Reverend Rollo Goodlove (voiced by Cee-Lo Green) is an African-American left-wing activist whose activism seems more to get him media exposure than to show his opinion on the issue. He originally appeared in the Boondocks episode "The Hunger Strike." When Huey went on a hunger strike to try and get Black Entertainment Television (BET) shut down Rollo Goodlove approached Huey to help him gain publicity for his hunger strike. Instead of getting BET shut down, he used Huey to get media attention and a sitcom on BET. Rollo appeared again on "The S-Word" using Riley being called the N-word by his teacher in much the same way as he used Huey. Rollo spent the whole episode going on talk shows to plug his upcoming BET sitcom, and argue with Anne Coulter (who, it was revealed, staged racial arguments she didn't believe in to sell books). Rollo has a history of using people to further his own goals and then justifying it. When he sold out Huey for a sitcom, he justified it as "allowing him to fight BET from the inside."
According to Huey, he toured with the band Parliament-Funkadelic in the seventies.
